How Wager Works

Wager is a competitive gaming platform where players compete against each other for real rewards. Here is a breakdown of our rules, fees, and mechanics.

1. The Core Concept

Wager operates on a Player vs Player (PVP) model. We provide the arena and the games, but you compete against other real people.

  • Skill-Based Games: Games like Anagram, Spellout, and Battleship rely predominantly on your skill and strategy.
  • Chance-Based Games: Games like Coin Flip involve significant elements of chance.

Important: Wager is not a casino. We do not act as the "house" and we do not bet against you. We simply facilitate the match between two players.

2. Fees & Commissions

To maintain the platform, servers, and development, Wager charges a small service fee on each match.

Platform Fee: 4.9%

A 4.9% fee is taken from the total pot of each match. The winner receives the remaining amount.

Example: If two players wager $10 each, the total pot is $20. Wager takes ~$0.98, and the winner receives ~$19.02.

No Hidden Fees: We do not charge hidden fees. Blockchain network fees (gas) are paid directly to the Solana network and are not collected by us.

3. Game Rules

Each game has its own specific rules, which are displayed before you start a match. General rules apply to all games:

  • One Account: You may only have one account. Multi-accounting is prohibited.
  • No Bots: The use of bots, scripts, or AI assistance is strictly forbidden.
  • Finality: Once a game concludes and the winner is determined by our server, the result is final.

4. Winnings & Payouts

Winnings are automatically credited to your connected Solana wallet or in-game balance immediately after the match concludes.

  • Prizes are paid in the same cryptocurrency used for the wager (SOL or USDC).
  • Transactions are recorded on the blockchain for transparency.
