Crypto Handling Policy
Wager operates using blockchain technology. This policy outlines how we handle cryptocurrency transactions, deposits, and withdrawals.
1. Non-Custodial Nature
Wager is primarily a non-custodial platform.
- Your Wallet: You connect your own personal Solana wallet (e.g., Phantom, Solflare).
- Control: You retain full control of your private keys and funds. We do not have access to your wallet's private keys.
- Transactions: When you wager, you authorize a specific transaction on the blockchain.
2. Deposits & Withdrawals
Deposits
To play, you may need to deposit funds into a game smart contract or escrow wallet.
- Deposits are processed on the Solana blockchain.
- Confirmation times depend on network congestion.
- Ensure you are sending the correct token (SOL or USDC) to the correct address.
Withdrawals
Winnings are typically sent directly to your connected wallet or can be claimed from the platform.
- Withdrawals are subject to network fees.
- We reserve the right to manually review large withdrawals for security purposes.
3. Fees
Please be aware of the following fees:
- Network Fees (Gas): Paid to the Solana network for processing transactions. These are not set or collected by Wager.
- Platform Fee: A percentage of the wager amount is retained by the platform as a service fee (see "How It Works" for current rates).
4. Risks
Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible.
- If you send funds to the wrong address, they cannot be recovered.
- We are not responsible for user errors in transaction handling.
